The control and maintenance unit is built in a 20ft container which is divided into two compartments, the control compartment and the maintenance compartment. <b>Control compartment</b> The control compartment is equipped with two desks which both have full control over one ROV. It's also possible to use two ROV's with one control unit. It's equipped with a handy winch to take the ROV's and winches out of the compartment with ease. In the two storage closets is enough storage space for all the spare and maintenance parts. A collapsible table is mounted against the wall, it can be used when you need extra space for maintaining the ROV's. When there is no need for the table you simply collapse the table against the wall and you've got your space back again.

DiveScan is an air diving data recording system for surface supplied divers. The system records the depth and time profile of divers while in the water and in a surface recompression chamber. <b>Principle of operation</b> The system records the diver's depth using a diver worn pressure transmitter that connects through the diver’s umbilical to an interface located on the surface. The chamber locks are also fitted with pressure transmitters that connect to the same interface so that any therapeutic recompression is also recorded. The interface connects to a PC compatible computer’s Ethernet port. The computer runs the DiveScan software program that reads the pressure from the transmitters and in turn displays the diver’s depths readings on screen and logs the data to a Microsoft Access compatible data file. <b>Software details</b> The software interrogates the interface every second for the pressure data and records any change along with a time stamp in the database. The database is automatically archived at midnight every day and a one hour overlap is automatically added to each 24 hour file to provide data continuity.
