Only a few years since the launching of the already very successful LARS Lite, we currently started the manufacturing of a smaller relative, simply named the LARS Lite Compact. This very compact Launch and Recovery System is also stackable and designed to fit 2 complete systems in a high cube 20” container. The footprint of this LARS is only 2000mm x 2160mm to use the least amount of deck space onboard a vessel. Further it has the same high quality already known in the LARS Lite. Extensive use of high quality Stainless Steel, hydraulic controls for winches and frame, etc.. This realises a long lifespan even with the hars environments of the sea. The twin basket launch and recovery system is specifically designed to provide a compact option for the use of two seperate LARS. This system is very easily transportable because it fits exactly in a 20" container. We realise the necessity to use the least amount of deck space onboard a vessel and ensure that shipping & mobilisation costs are kept to a minimum. The configuration offered in this specification is viewed as being the most practical solution for a mobile launch & recovery system that complies with IMCA's diving standards and your specification requirements. POMMEC 2 DIVER LAUNCH AND RECOVERY SYSTEM ECONO The Pommec Economy LARS is our lowest priced Launch and Recovery System. A real “no nonsense” system, though it’s a more traditional LARS than our other system. The Hydraulic Skid is designed for customers who would like to have a complete, protective and easily transportable solution for our hydraulic power packs. The frame itself can hold up to two hydraulic power packs (power packs are not included) and a generator. Entirely manufactured and constructed for heavy Offshore use, in stainless steel 316 L, same quality as all our stainless steel equipment. The Skid is designed and calculated on the bases of the LAME codes (Code for Lifting Appliances in a Marine Environment by Lloyd’s Register, Aug. 2009, including Notice 1, 2 and 3). After completion of the entire skid, the package will be load tested and witnessed by Lloyd’s Register of Shipping. It will also be delivered with a powerful diesel powered generator. This European built generator is fully silenced (59-60 dB(A) - 7 mtr.) and has a Iveco diesel water cooled engine, with a Stamford generator. After we’ve installed a special booster inside you will have more than enough power to start your HPU’s or other electric engines! When needed, the power packs and generator can be lifted out of the protective Skid by opening the foldable stainless steel top cover. By using stainless steel cable ducts you will not see any loose cables hanging around, creating a safe working environment.
